Meet Jazmine Walton
Founder & Visionary of Sown for a Season
Hi, I’m Jazmine — a passionate caregiver, educator, and the founder of Sown for a Season. I’ve spent over 10 years working closely with children, and every step of my journey has confirmed one thing: I was made for this. From my experience as a Pre-K teacher to working as a STEM instructor and tutor, I’ve developed a deep passion for both teaching and learning. I believe in nurturing the whole child — emotionally, intellectually, and creatively.
I’ve also had the joy of working as a cheer coach and dance instructor, which has fueled my love for movement and athletics. I’ve seen firsthand how physical expression can build confidence, discipline, and joy in children — and I carry that passion into the work I do every day.
I have a grace for children and a heart for families. I’m currently pursuing my dream of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist, and my vision is to one day expand Sown for a Season to offer holistic family support services — not just childcare, but tools for creating whole, thriving households.
At Sown for a Season, I don’t just bring anyone on board. Each team member is handpicked because they carry a heart for children as big as mine — individuals who see this work as more than a job, but a calling. Together, we create safe, joyful spaces where children can grow, and families can feel truly supported.
We’re honored to serve you — not just for a moment, but for the season you’re in.
